Pink Heals, City of Clovis to give Bikes and helmets to children in need

CLOVIS, Calif. (KFSN) -- Almost 200 children and their families packed the Clovis Fire Station Saturday to receive a free bike as a part of the Pink Heals Bike giveaway.

Several sponsors donated the 190 bikes that made it to Clovis Saturday, making sure to purchase bikes in a range of sizes for kids of all ages.

The sponsors say it's the reaction from kids and their families that makes them keep wanting to give back.

Sponsors also donated hats, gloves, scarves and art supplies for the children who attended the event.

Pink Heals also donated their pink fire truck for families to check out while waiting to get their bike. Several Clovis firefighters also gave several kids the chance to go inside their fire engines and take a tour of the station.
