VISALIA, Calif. (KFSN) -- A Visalia non-profit group dedicated to honoring local military members hit the streets bright and early Wednesday morning.

BRAVE Project Visalia hung ten more banners on Goshen Avenue today, bringing the total number to 215.

Brian Summers says watching his son's banner being installed was very emotional. Cameron Summers, 21, is a private first class in the Marines, currently stationed in North Carolina.

"He says it's a new adventure every day," Brian Summers said. "They're going to teach us to be a jack of all trades, master of one, and eventually he's going to get to blow stuff up, so what young man doesn't love that."

Summers is a Mt. Whitney High School grad. He spent a couple of years at College of the Sequoias before joining one of his best friends in the Marines.
