Your Weekend
Have you made plans for the weekend yet? If not, we have a few ideas for your consideration.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Zoo Lights at Chaffee Zoo

Zoo Lights brightens the pathways for guests and gives the park a holiday feel. On top of the beautiful displays, guests will be treated to a cup of hot cocoa and a sweet treat. Santa will also be there to hear what each child wants this Christmas. The event runs Friday through Sunday this month. In December, it will be open every Friday through Sunday, as well as some other days during the week. Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for kids, who are members of the Chaffee Zoo. The event runs from 5 to 8 p.m.

River Park Santa

The hardest working man in the toy business this time of year is setting up shop at River Park. Beginning Friday, families are being invited to visit Saint Nick at the Polar Express in North Fresno, which is home to Santa's Village. The village is open every day through Christmas Eve. There is a virtual waiting system which means no more lines to get a photo with Saint Nick.

Nutcracker at Saroyan Theatre

Dancing candy canes and sugarplum fairies will take the stage this weekend at the William Saroyan Theatre. The Valley Performing Arts Council is once again bringing a holiday tradition to life by presenting The Nutcracker. This year's performance features 37 professional dancers from nationally-acclaimed Sacramento Ballet, along with over 100 student dancers who hail from more than a dozen Valley cities as well as dancers from Fresno Ballet Theatre. There are two separate shows scheduled, Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are still available, prices ranging from $34 to $75.

Dogs, Brew & Ugly Sweaters

Get your pooch in the holiday spirit while helping a good cause. Tioga Sequoia Brewery in downtown Fresno is hosting an event bringing together dogs, brews, and ugly sweater'. For a donation of $10 or a minimum donation of ten pounds of dog food, you can take a holiday photo with your fur baby and or your friends. This charity event benefits the Fresno Humane Society. Guests will be able to enjoy food from several food trucks and Tioga Sequoia's favorite brews. The event starts at 4:00 p.m.
