Sesame Street Party

Elmo and Big Bird are bringing their friends from Sesame Street to the Saroyan Theatre. They are putting on a show with a fun theme. It is being called a high energy and interactive show for every member of the family. There are two shows to choose from on Friday-2 p.m. and 6 p.m. Tickets are still available and prices begin at $20.

Harlem Globetrotters

The world famous Harlem Globetrotters are taking over the Save Mart Center Friday night. Members of this iconic team are known for their dunking abilities and trick shows. Fans can expect to see that Friday night. This year, they will bring members of their acrobatic trampoline dunk team to perform some high-flying stunts. Game time is at 7 p.m. and ticket prices for this show begin at $21.50.

Fundraising for Poverello House

A Valley runner is using his birthday party to raise money for a local nonprofit. For the past seven years, Miles Alexander has hosted a run in Clovis benefitting the Poverello House. The 10k begins at Railroad Park on Peach and Alluvial. It ends with a birthday party, complete with edible medals! It costs $30 per adult with every dollar going directly to the Poverello House. Since starting in 2011, they have raised $5,000. The run begins at 9 a.m.

Engelmann Cellars

The killer dueling pianos have two scheduled performances at separate wineries over the weekend. Their show at the San Joaquin Winery on Friday night is sold out. For their performance at Engelmann Cellars, tickets are still available. Catch them live from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. General admission is $7.
