Cookie thief nabbed in Madera, police say

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Madera police say they caught a cookie thief this weekend. Officers arrested Edgar Ceja, 29, on Saturday.

Ceja is accused of swiping a tray of cookies from a house on Monocott Drive in Madera and threatening the owners with a rock. The victims followed the suspect until authorities arrived. Police say he was on probation for auto theft.

The cookies were returned to their rightful owners.
