Covered California bus tour wraps up

A Covered California bus tour across the state just wrapped up.

The tour visited insurance agents, community clinics and other agencies to help educate people about healthcare options under the affordable care act.

Part of the act requires people who aren't covered to be fined when they file their tax returns. Starting in 2016, that fine could be as high as $60 a month and increase over time.

Californians have until January 31 to sign up.
