At least one killed in single-car crash near Avenal

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- At least one person died in an early morning traffic collision near Avenal.

The CHP says a single-car went down an embankment and crashed at the Avenal Cutoff on Interstate 5.

The crash happened just after midnight and investigators have been at the crash scene all morning.

Officers haven't confirmed how many people in total were injured in the collision.
