Crash sends truck into canal near Sanger

SANGER, Calif. (KFSN) -- A driver of a pickup is thankful to have survived a crash that sent his truck into a canal near Sanger. It happened just after eight Thursday night at Jensen near Indianola.

Police said the driver lost control, drove into the median hitting trees and flipped the truck. It ended upside down in the canal.

The driver was able to get out and floated downstream for a distance until he could climb out. He was taken to Community Regional Medical Center.
