Deputies investigating home invasion that ended in shooting in Fresno County

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Fresno County Sheriff's deputies are investigating a home invasion that ended in a shooting.

It happened just before 1:30 a.m. Monday at a home on Olive near Valentine.

Deputies say a man living in the home was shot.

We don't know the extent of his injuries but before he was transported to a hospital he told detectives four to five armed suspects wearing masks entered his house.

Detectives believe this may be a drug-related case.
