Fire damages home in Southwest Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. -- Fire crews are at the scene of a house fire on Kearney Avenue and Stephens Avenue in Southwest Fresno.

The fire broke out just before 3 a.m. Wednesday morning. It appears to have started on the porch and flames spread into the attic but crews were able to quickly contain the flames.

No one was currently living in the home but officials on scene say it appears to have recently been remodeled.

There is no word on what caused the fire.
