Firefighters free stray dog with head stuck in tire

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- In Indianapolis, Indiana, a dog was not only freed from an awful predicament, she also now has a home.

The neighborhood stray got its head stuck in a tire. A woman who often fed the Pit Bull mix took her, tire and all to the local firehouse.

When dish soap and oil failed, firefighters used large tools to cut the rim open. After that ordeal, the woman decided to adopt the dog.
