CLOVIS, Calif. (KFSN) -- It's hard to believe, but summer is winding down and that means school is around the corner. Some districts start next week and Valley parents have a full back to school shopping list to tackle.
When it comes to technology, there are so many options for parents. This morning we are giving you a look at the different options.
According to the National Retail Federation, families plan to spend $630.36 on electronics, apparel and other school needs, which is down from $669.28 last year. Total spending is expected to reach $24.9 billion.
This year, families said they would decrease their spending on gadgets for their children and will spend an average of $197.24. Also, parents this year will head into the back-to-school season evaluating what their children really need before spending on new items.
