Bullard High School students celebrate Black History Month
Wendy McCulley executive director of the Office of African American Acceleration is teaching Bullard high students about legacy.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Wendy McCulley, Executive Director of the Office of African American Acceleration, is teaching Bullard high students about legacy.

McCulley's speech is one of many shared at Bullard High School's Black History Month celebration, educating and inspiring students.

Students also took the podium, some sharing wisdom from historical figures like Maya Angelou, others presented original poems.

The celebration also encouraged students to stay in school and achieve a higher education.
