FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A new generation of Rams got the keys to their future at Fresno City College on Saturday.

The annual orientation Keys to City welcomed new students and their parents to the city college campus with experts and resources available in every area needed to begin their college career. Topics covered financial aid, to campus technology, to student clubs and social life.

"We want to welcome our Fresno City College students to their educational future. We want to give them shortcuts to success, to be a good student, to know what to do," said Maile Martin with FCC Student Activities. "We've got the bookstore open today. We've got the business office so they can take care of their parking passes."

About 3,600 freshmen will be entering Fresno City College when it begins Monday, Aug. 17. Total enrollment stands at 21,000 students so far this year.
