Fresno students enjoy mini version of Disneyland

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A Fresno middle school tried to conjure up a little Disney magic on Friday right on campus.

The after-school program at El Capitan Middle School turned the campus quad into a mini version of Disneyland. The kids got to meet 11 costumed characters. The students created many of the displays. They spent nearly two months working on the project.

Friday's end-of-the-year celebration wasn't just for students; it was also open to neighbors who live near the school.
