More than 200 students spent the day learning how to make a positive change in the community.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- More than 200 students spent the day learning how to make a positive change in the community. The Youth Leadership Institute hosted this Fresno Teen Summit at Edison High School on Saturday.

The free event featured motivational speakers, along with informational booths and workshops. The goal is to provide teens with a broader perspective on issues that impact their lives and help them come up with solutions for challenges they may be facing.

Action News sports director Tommy Tran served as the summit's emcee.
