FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- When Fresno Unified students go back to school in the fall, they'll notice big changes. Several major projects are under construction around town. The projects include; new pools at Hoover and Edison High, new buildings at McLane and Bullard and a brand new High School near Ratcliffe Stadium, named the Phillip J Patino School of Entrepreneurship. All of the improvements are funded through Measure Q, which has provided $175 million for projects in the district since 2010.

The district's Chief Operations Officer, Karin Temple said, "it means upgrades to our facilities so our students have world class facilities, so that their educational environment is improved."

The district is also building a new gym at Baird Middle School. It'll be ready in January and the other projects should be complete by the end of the summer.
