FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- This weekend Downtown Fresno will come alive with food and beer. Fresnans will get a chance to celebrate local craft beer with an annual event called the "FresYes Fest."
There's a lot to do at FresYes Fest: explore Tioga-Sequoia's brewery, get a chance to sample special-release beers, eat from six delicious local food trucks, listen to live music from some of Fresno's best acts and scope out the new FresYes marketplace.
The live music lineup is led by two pillars of the Fresno scene: Latin/hip-hop party band 40 Watt Hype and local blues ambassadors MoFo Party Band. The lineup also includes One Hot Minute, playing great '90s covers, and folksy singer/songwriter Will Bollman. Live music starts at 2:30 p.m. DJ Aesop will close out the night.
You won't go hungry. The food-truck selection includes local faves the Dusty Buns Bistro Bus, two-time Taco Truck Throwdown winners La Elegante and Benaddiction, the beloved breakfast-inspired truck. Also there: Bravo Bites, Weenies on Wheels and Jay's Specialty Ice Cream.
