Clovis Rodeo fans already buying tickets for 2016

CLOVIS, Calif. (KFSN) -- This year's Clovis Rodeo is over, but already fans are thinking ahead to next year's event. On Monday morning, dozens of people were at the ticket office to secure their seats.

The early bird opportunity is something that is available the week after the rodeo -- online and at the ticket office from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. When the week is up, rodeo fans will have to wait until January to get their tickets.

Organizers say this year's rodeo was a success. They estimate 40,000 people attended the four-day event, and about 8,000 pounds of tri-tip were served up.

Next year's rodeo is scheduled for April 21-24.
