Graphic surveillance video shows Suge Knight hit-and-run

LOS ANGELES -- Possible surveillance video of a deadly hit-and-run involving Marion "Suge" Knight was posted online. The unedited video shows the entire encounter unfold.

TMZ posted the video overnight to its website, saying it was surveillance footage from Tam's Burgers. (WARNING: Video is disturbing)

The incident came after a confrontation related to the filming of the movie "Straight Outta Compton."

TMZ says in the video, Knight was driving the red truck at the top left of the screen when he was confronted by a man -- Cle "Bone" Sloan.

At one point, the truck backs up, knocking Sloan to the ground. Moments later, the truck is seen pulling forward, running over another man -- Terry Carter.

The Death Row Records co-founder claims he was trying to escape after being attacked. He remains jailed without bail as he faces multiple charges including murder, attempted murder and hit-and-run.

The former rap music mogul appeared in court Monday for a hearing, moving forward with getting yet another lawyer to represent him. At his last hearing, Knight indicated he has fired his second attorney in the case.

The proceeding lasted less than two minutes, and in court, there was no mention of the new surveillance video.

Knight's new attorney Matthew Fletcher says the video exonerates him.

"100 percent it proved that Suge Knight was attacked," Fletcher said. "You started a fight. You came with guns, and you came with grown men who attacked him."

Fletcher says it's clear in the video that one of the men hit by the car was carrying a gun.

Prosecutors say Knight set out to run over and kill Carter and injure Sloan, and that Knight was the aggressor.

Knight will return to court on March 20 for a bail hearing. He is also being tried in a separate robbery case.

If convicted in either case, Knight could face life in prison because of California's "three strikes" law.
