Tulare's Galaxy Theatres upgrades its DFX auditoriums with Barco laser projectors

Galaxy Theatres announced on Facebook this week they have a new Barco Laser Projection in their DFX theatre.

According to a Barco Press Release, the projector features the highest brightness in the industry. Barco laser projectors illuminate premium large screens, especially for 3D movies.

Galaxy Theaters' DFX auditoriums across the country have now added Barco laser projectors to the existing multichannel, immersive audio system and Galaxy?s reclining lounge chairs.

The Galaxy Theater in Tulare became the first Valley theater to offer alcohol a few years ago as theaters have had to adjust to audience expectations.

Alcohol is also being sold at Sierra Vista Theater in Clovis. Not only do you select your reserved seat at Sierra Vista, you can also now buy beer or wine before you settle into a nicely padded reclining chair.

Other Valley theaters have also applied for alcohol permits.
