Every year, the Hillcrest Christmas Tree Farm comes alive with trees, fun and train rides.

REEDLEY, Calif. (KFSN) -- Every year, the Hillcrest Christmas Tree Farm comes alive with trees, fun and train rides.

After Thanksgiving Hillcrest Farm in Reedley opened to big crowd. The tree farm has been providing Christmas trees to people in the Valley for the past 55 years.

People are able to search through the orchard for the tree of their liking and even get to cut it down themselves, if they choose. There are also steam train rides to complete the experience.

Hillcrest Christmas Tree Farm is the oldest in the San Joaquin Valley. Founded in 1960 by Ed and Bonnie Toews, it has been at its current location ever since. The history of the railroad began with Ed.

The Christmas tree farm will be through open through Sunday night.
