Death could not part this San Diego couple
Last week, Jeanette and Alexander Toczko had their final wish fulfilled before they passed away.

Last week, Jeanette and Alexander Toczko had their final wish fulfilled before they passed away. The two wanted to be together as they celebrated 75 years of marriage. So, hospice brought a bed to their home so the couple could be together in their last days.

Jeanette kept asking her children if it was June 29th because that was the day they married in 1940. Knowing that their father wasn't going to last much longer, the family decided to go along and celebrate their parent's 75th anniversary with balloons and flowers.

Jeanette was thrilled. However, about 30 minutes later, family noticed a change in their dad's breathing. "He died in her arms, which is exactly what he wanted. I went in there and told my mother he was gone. She hugged him and she said 'See, this is what you wanted. You died in my arms and I love you. I love you. Wait for me. I'll be there soon,'" daughter Aimee Toczko-Cushman said.

About 24 hours later, Jeannette also took her last breath. The Toczkos were buried on Monday at Miramar National Cemetery.
