When Joey Watanabe came home he recorded video of his homecoming on a GoPro to show how he pulled off the surprise.
First, the 22-year-old Skyped his loved ones without telling them he was right outside the home.
When his brother and mom couldn't hear him he decided to just go right in. Luckily the front door was unlocked. He continued to the back of the home where he found the both of them.
He pulled off the surprise without a hitch.
