Firefighters make quick work of tire fire in Earlimart

EARLIMART, Calif. (KFSN) -- Tulare County firefighters are monitoring the scene of a tire fire near Earlimart. The blaze broke out just before midnight in the area of Road 120 and Avenue 56 just off Highway 99.

Units arrived on scene to find a large pile of tires on fire and threatening a nearby mobile home. They were able to quickly contain the fire to the tires.

No structures were damaged and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
