Firefighters save Central Fresno business after fire breaks out

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Quick action by firefighters kept flames from burning a Central Fresno business. The fire broke out just after nine Tuesday night behind a strip mall in the area of Shields and Maroa.

Crews said they arrived to find fire and smoke in a truck dock that holds shipping containers and trash bins. They said they had a tough time getting through the iron gates to fight the fire, but were able to get there in time to contain the fire to the dock itself.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time and authorities said no one was hurt.
