Fresno County Sheriff's Office investigating hit and run that leaves woman dead near Millerton Lake

FRESNO COUNTY (KFSN) -- Fresno County deputies are investigating a deadly hit and run near Millerton Lake. They were alerted to the scene by drivers who found a body on the side of the road.

Investigators believe the woman was hit by a car traveling westbound on Millerton Road sometime Saturday night or early Sunday morning.

There is currently no suspect information and the woman has not been identified.
