Man shot at Hanford party on New Year's Day

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Authorities in Hanford are investigating a New Year's Day shooting that left a man injured.

Hanford police say they responded to Adventist Medical Center on Thursday morning after receiving a report of a shooting victim who was taken to the hospital. When they arrived, officers learned that a 31-year-old man suffered two gunshot wounds at a party a few hours earlier.

The man was later transported to Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno for additional treatment. His exact condition has not been released.

So far, no arrests have been made. The shooting remains under investigation.
