Sometimes, getting your best workout happens when you're hitting the gym with someone else. (KFSN)

Are you looking at getting lean and tone or do you want to build muscle? You can have a workout partner that has different goals and you both can accomplish them.

It is about your repetitions, weight and consistency. If your goal is to get lean and tone, you want to do higher reps and medium weight and always stay intense. If you want to build lean body mass you need to push the muscle to make it stronger and bigger. The goal is to use heavy weight and fewer reps.

If you want to reach either goal, have a balanced diet with an aerobic workout component, which includes walking or cycling.
