President of Tulare Regional Medical Center Resigns

Fresno, Calif. (KFSN) -- The president of the Tulare Regional Medical Center board has resigned.

The CEO of healthcare conglomerate associates confirms Linda Wilbourn's resignation will be effective tomorrow morning.

A hospital board meeting was scheduled for today, but because other board members held a separate meeting, there was no quorum and the meeting was canceled.

The hospital's administration, however, says the separate meetings are not legitimate. This summer, Dr. Parmod Kumar was recalled from his board seat and Senovia Gutierrez was elected to take his place.
