FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A semi-truck crash blocked lanes of Highway 99 in Fresno for several hours overnight. Investigators say a big rig carrying onions was stopped on the shoulder of southbound 99 near the Jensen Avenue exit, when another semi hit it early Tuesday morning.
The collision scattered the cargo on the roadway. California Highway Patrol officers had to close down all lanes of southbound 99 on and off for a couple hours while the highway was cleared of debris.
Both truck drivers were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
