Christmas tree disposal locations

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- If you're taking down your holiday decorations, the city of Visalia is asking residents to drop off their Christmas trees at designated locations.

Residents are asked to remove all ornaments, lights tinsel and the metal stand. There are several designated drop off locations including the Visalia Nazarene Church on Caldwell Avenue and the Food 4 Less on Dinuba Blvd.

Fresno residents are asked to dispose of their Christmas trees by cutting them up into three foot lengths and then placing the trees in the green waste bin for collection.
