Homeless man attacked with a brick in Downtown Fresno
Police are searching for suspects in a late-night attack in Downtown Fresno.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Police are searching for suspects in a late-night attack in Downtown Fresno.

Investigators said a homeless man was hit by a brick and another object by three men asking for a cigarette. The victim said he was attacked when he told them he didn't have one.

The man ended up getting help by walking into the Double Tree Hotel on Ventura.

The victim was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive.

Investigators are still gathering information on the suspects.
