Police searching for suspect who shot homeless man in Downtown Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Police are searching for the suspect accused of shooting a homeless man in Downtown Fresno.

It happened around 3 am Wednesday on a highway 99 embankment near E and Kern Streets.

The victim was shot in the leg and was dropped off at the hospital several hours after the shooting.

He is expected to be okay and officers are now trying to determine what led up to violence.
