Firefighters douse house fire in Central Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Firefighters quickly put out a house fire burning on Poplar near Belmont just after 2 a.m. on Tuesday morning.

Police arrived to see the home, which was boarded up, fully engulfed in flames.

The structure came down quickly, as engines doused the fire from high above.

Power lines were down behind the home in an alley.

No one was hurt and the cause is under investigation.
