Flames destroy part of vacant southeast Fresno home
The vacant house on Chestnut and Fillmore caught fire just before 6 a.m.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Flames destroyed most of a southeast Fresno home on Sunday morning.

The vacant house on Chestnut and Fillmore caught fire just before 6 a.m.

Firefighters say the flames spread across three-quarters of the house before they gained control.

Officials say homeless people commonly hide out in the home, but the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
