Police on the lookout for kidnapper in Parlier

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The Parlier Police Department is searching for a man who kidnapped and sexually assaulted a young woman.

According to authorities, a young woman was walking home Saturday evening in the area of First and J Streets in Parlier when she was approached by a dark colored minivan being driven by a young Hispanic male.

The male forced the victim into the vehicle at gunpoint and drove her to a rural location, south of the city, where the assault occurred.

The Parlier Police Department is requesting the community for assistance to solve this crime. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male adult in his mid-twenties. The suspect vehicle is described as a dark green or black, newer model, four-door minivan with rear tinted windows.
