18-year-old woman's body pulled from Lake Success after drowning, deputies say

TULARE COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- Tulare County deputies have pulled an 18-year-old woman's body from Lake Success.

Authorities have identified the woman as Jackelinne Castro from Porterville.

Deputies were informed of the missing woman just before 5 pm Thursday.

Witnesses told deputies Castro was standing in shallow water before stepping into a drop-off and drowning.
