MADERA, Calif. (KFSN) -- Traffic along a busy highway is flowing smoothly after a fatal car crash has caused a traffic backup on Highway 145 in Madera early Wednesday morning.
Highway Patrol says it happened around 6:20 a.m. on Highway 145, west of Road 36.
Authorities say the driver of a Dodge Dakota was heading west when he crossed the divider and slammed into three other vehicles.
The driver died at the scene.
