Madera police investigate deadly gang-related shooting

Madera police are investigating a deadly shooting from about 2:30 a.m. Saturday.

They say someone killed 22-year-old Angel Venegas in the area of Sharon Blvd. and Wilson St., just east of Highway 99 and the Rotary Park.

Police say they're still collecting evidence and they want to hear from witnesses, but they believe the shooting was gang-related.
