Madera residents evacuated after gas leak related to traffic collision

Residents of a Madera neighborhood have been evacuated after a gas leak caused by a traffic collision.

Madera Police department officers, Madera Fire personnel, and PG&E staff are on scene near W South Street and Sonora Street working on the leak.

They are asking people to stay out of the area.
