Arrest made in connection to deadly shooting in Strathmore

STRATHMORE, Calif. (KFSN) -- Tulare County Sheriff's Deputies say 24-year-old Solomon Mata from Plainview is the suspect connected to the shooting that happened early Friday morning.

A victim suffering from a gunshot wound was found just after midnight near Vista Avenue and Road 195.

He was airlifted to a nearby hospital and we have learned, he has passed away from his injuries.

Mata is now in the Tulare County Sheriff's pre-trial facility, on homicide charges.
