Man dies in police custody after arrest in Lindsay

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Authorities are investigating the death of a man who was in the custody of Lindsay police.

Officers arrested the 24-year-old around 6 p.m. Friday after reports of a fight between two males. The suspect was being driven to the Tulare County Jail when he became unresponsive.

The man later died at Kaweah Delta Medical Center. His name has not been released.

The Tulare County Sheriff's Office is now handling the investigation.
