Man flips ATV after fleeing from Madera police

MADERA, Calif. (KFSN) -- A man was arrested after he ran a red light while riding an ATV and failed to pull over as Madera police officer tried to stop him.

Officials say Juan Mendoza kept driving before he eventually veered off the road and overturned his ATV.

Mendoza was not injured in the incident.

Police want to remind people that traffic laws apply to all motor vehicles on roadways.
