Man hit and killed by car near Tachi Palace Hotel and Casino

One man is dead after getting hit by a driver in Kings County, according to the California Highway Patrol.

It happened around 1:30 a.m. Monday on Jersey Avenue and 18th Avenue near the Tachi Palace Hotel and Casino in Lemoore.

The CHP says officers arrested the driver for being under the influence.

Officers have not released details of what led up to the deadly crash.
