Man hospitalized after hit run crash in Central Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Police are searching for the person involved in a hit and run accident in Central Fresno near Olive and Palm.

Police officers say the driver of a white pickup truck hit a man in the middle of the street just before 10 p.m. Saturday night. The area is poorly lit and there is no crosswalk.

Investigators are currently canvassing nearby neighborhoods searching for possible witnesses and surveillance footage.

The man was taken to the hospital with serious to life-threatening injuries.
