FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A Fresno judge has sentenced Jeremy Lynd to 35 years to life in prison for an attempted ATM robbery in River Park last year.

According to one victim Lynd and Bobbie Sue Sevier attempted to rob a man while he was pulling $20 at an EECU ATM. The victim said he was jolted twice with a stun gun which forced him to grab a gun and fire at the suspects.

Lynd's Defense Attorney said he is remorseful and admitted he should have been shot instead of Sevier.

Regarding a letter Lynd wrote to the court, prosecutors said he does not take accountability for his behavior.
