Hit and run crash in Merced leaves man dead

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Merced Police say a man in his 30s was crossing the street at Childs Avenue near P Street around 9:15 p.m. Friday night when a car hit and killed him. The driver then sped off.

Authorities believe the vehicle is either a Ford Mustang or Ford Explorer with frontend damage.
