Man faces charges after police chase in Southwest Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Fresno Police say they tried to pull over 32-year-old Nathaniel Brewer around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Officers say Brewer sped off, heading west on Kearney Boulevard, where he crashed a few minutes later. They say he tried to run away, but was quickly caught by officers.

Investigators say they found a loaded handgun in his car along with evidence of drug sales. Brewer now faces several felony charges.
