People dealt with a big mess in Northeast Fresno after a car crashed into a fire hydrant and an apartment building.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- People dealt with a big mess in Northeast Fresno after a car crashed into a fire hydrant and an apartment building. The crashes happened at Barstow Avenue and First Street on Saturday afternoon.

Fresno police say the vehicle was stolen, and the driver was arrested for felony auto theft. No one was injured, but the impact sent a geyser shooting out of the hydrant. It also damaged a nearby apartment.

Investigators have not released any other details at this point.
